For skiing you don‘t need a car. By public transport you have several options like train and bus. Here are some ski areas to reach easily from Munich by train and bus.

- Garmisch Partenkirchen: By train you can reach the ski area in 1,5h by Train from Munich. If you take the Train at 6:30 you will be there just after 8 and be the first on the slopes. Also a perfect area to learn skiing because of the different learning areas.
- Brauneck: With the train to Lenggries and bus directly to the station, you can reach the ski area in 1,5h.
- Spitzingsee: The train goes to Schliersee and Bus directly to the station. It also takes 1,5h.
- Daytrips from Hackerbrücke: Besides the train you have several ski daytrip bus options to book from several companies. These go usually to Austria to bigger ski resorts, for example Hochzillertal, Wilder Kaiser Brixen, Kitzbühl, etc. The Bus will bring you to the ski area and take you back the same day. For example Skibus München, Schneebeben, KitzSki, etc.
Have fun skiing for the last weeks of snow! ❄️
