Udaipur is a beautiful city with a big lake for boat rides, with many rooftop bars, shops and restaurants. Besides that a fun activity is taking an art class. Udaipur is famous for its fine line art technique.
The art class takes 2-3 hours and you don’t need any art skills before going there. First you choose your motive, e.g. camel, lio, peacock, etc. Based on your choice, you start drawing a draft with a pencil.
After finishing the draft, it is time for some color. The background color is applied on the draft with a paintbrush made of camel eyelashes and squirrel hair.
Now it is time to layer all the details from feather colors, eyes and outlines of the motive.
It’s your choice to add a background colour and you are done! For me the art class was so relaxing and drinking chai masala tea in between was an amazing experience.
