Staying in hostels can be fun, meeting people, socialize. But sometimes it can be challenging to rest or sleep properly in 6-/8-/10-bed dorms. People walking in-/out, lights switched on, talking during the night, etc. Let‘s pack for the next hostel!

Here are some packing tips to get your beauty sleep in a hostel.
1.ANC Headphones
Active noise cancelling headphones are a life saver, when you stay in a dorm with people who snore. In comparison to normal ear plugs, the headphones filter out the outside noise. Switched on you barley hear anything and can sleep the whole night.
2.Scarf
Sometimes dorm beds don’t have bed curtains for more privacy. In that case a scarf, sarong, towel or anything like a sheet can help out. You can attach it at the bed grid of the top bed bunk, if you sleep in the bottom bed. That’s why I usually ask at the reception during check-in, if I can get a bottom bed.
3.Clothespin
If the scarf falls out of the bed grid and it is not possible to make a knot, clothespins are very handy. The scarf is easily attached at the bed and you have some privacy.
4.Sleeping mask
The sleeping mask is a basic packing accessory to avoid the light in the room while sleeping.
Have some good nights sleep!
